To launch my 3rd collection for Brooklyn Surfer, I transformed Robert Longo’s studio into showroom and invited friends and buyers from around the world. The combination of Urban Action Sports and the Art world was awesome.
Evergr33n was another name I tried to roll with, before I finally settled on Brooklyn Surfer. This tag was created for graffiti inspired boardshort.
The name Evergr33n had a nice ring to it, but when I tried to trademark the name and found that it was owned Nordstroms. I quickly suspended any further use under the name Evergr33n. This is last look book where I used the name.
Brooklyn Surfer is the brainchild of Brooklyn born graphic designer, Michael Green, which was founded in 2003 as a lifestyle brand for the conceptual surfer of life.
